Bryce Kelly, DPT

Born and raised in Fort St. John, Bryce received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from the University of North Dakota. He has been practicing in Fort St. John, in both public and private practice, since 2008. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Bryce's undergraduate studies culminated in a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and Developmental Biology.

Bryce believes everybody deserves the freedom to move and freedom to perform as they wish. For these reasons, Freedom Physiotherapy was named and furnished with the equipment necessary to meet the goals of all patients.

Anton Ponomarenko, MPT

Anton received his Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from The University of British Columbia following the completion of his undergraduate degree in Community Rehab and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary. Prior to this, he worked as a Physiotherapist Assistant for ten years in Fort St. John, facilitating the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, the musculoskeletal injury prevention program for the hospital staff, and the outpatient hip and knee replacement exercise program.

Anton, often referred to in the community as “The Exercise Guy,” loves sharing his excitement toward movement with all of his clients.

Mike van Nostrand, BHK

Born and raised in Fort St. John, Mike received his Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree in 2015 from The University of British Columbia Okanagan. Mike has been heavily involved in the local hockey community since his return, and spends much of his time working with athletes through Best Performance Sports Training.

Mike is committed to sharing his passion for strength and conditioning with his clients, and believes that, regardless of age and ability, there is an athlete in everyone.

Dustin Unruh, BKin

Born and raised in Buick, BC, Dustin received his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in 2022 from the University of Alberta. Dustin grew up playing hockey and baseball in our local associations. He pursued college baseball prior to transferring to the University of Alberta, winning a CCBC National Championship with the Okanagan College Coyotes.

Dustin is committed to providing meaningful physical activity to all populations in the community.

Norah Vogan, MSc, CSEP-CEP

Born and raised in Grande Prairie, AB, Norah swam competitively for the Grande Prairie Piranha Swim Team. She earned a scholarship to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree. Norah subsequently completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Alberta.

Norah is passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and enjoys helping others achieve the same.
